Bonus Day: Thursday, April 16, 2026

We’re so glad you’re interested in joining us for Thursday Bonus Day! Registration is free and available for families who are not registered for the full Homeschool Convention. If you are already registered for the convention, there’s nothing more you need to do—Thursday is already included for you.

While registration isn’t required to attend, signing up truly helps us plan well so we can prepare spaces, resources, and support for the families who will be with us. Thank you for helping us steward this day thoughtfully.

Homeschool Day at the Capitol
Homeschooling families from across the state will gather in Helena for a day of learning, connecting, and celebrating homeschool freedom.

Meet fellow families, hear from inspiring speakers, and enjoy hands-on activities—all while helping show the strength and unity of Montana’s homeschool community.

Join us at noon in the Rotunda of the Montana State Capitol to hear from legislators and Homeschool Montana leaders as we stand together in support of educational freedom.

This is a perfect educational field trip—giving students a front-row seat to civic engagement and an unforgettable experience at the heart of our state government. We can’t wait to see you there!

Are you considering homeschooling but aren’t sure where to start? This workshop is designed for new and curious parents who want a clear, practical introduction to homeschooling.

We’ll cover the basics—legal requirements, choosing curriculum, daily routines, and tips for creating a learning environment that works for your family. Come with questions and leave with confidence and encouragement to take the first steps in your homeschooling journey.

Vendor Hall Open + Homeschool Meet & Greet
The Vendor Hall will be open early for a relaxed Meet & Greet—a great opportunity to connect with homeschoolers from around the country. Enjoy free public admission to the Vendor Hall and take time to casually browse curriculum and educational resources before the convention officially begins on Friday morning. Whether you’re here to shop, network, or simply get oriented, this is a welcoming way to start the weekend.
