EXHIBITOR, ADVERTISER, AND SPONSOR REQUIREMENTS & CONDITIONS
The primary purpose of the Montana Homeschool Convention Exhibit Hall is to present a variety of curricula, products, and services for home educators’ use.
1. No material promoting non-Biblical positions on issues such as evolution, abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism, or presenting occultist beliefs may be displayed. Homeschool Montana reserves the right to require the removal of any material, including an entire display, which in Homeschool Montana's sole and unappealable judgment is offensive or inappropriate for display at the conference. Homeschool Montana assumes no financial liability if such action becomes necessary. If you have questions concerning the acceptability of your material, it may be submitted for advance approval.
2. Exhibitors will conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times and refrain from conduct or language that would discredit the Montana Homeschool Convention or home education in general.
3. Homeschool Montana believes God has immutably created each person as either male or female; therefore, all exhibitors are expected to conform their conduct and dress to reflect these beliefs.
4. All exhibitors and their staff must be dressed in business function attire appropriate for the gender of their natural birth and must use the corresponding restrooms of their birth gender. No immodest clothing will be allowed. Homeschool Montana reserves the sole and unappealable right to determine the appropriateness of all attire and to direct a change in clothing or exclude anyone from the premises. Homeschool Montana assumes no financial liability if such action becomes necessary.
5. Exhibits must be staffed at ALL times during the hours that the hall is open.
7. Each exhibit space will be allowed 2 exhibitor representative badges. Name badges may not be transferred or shared. Children under the age of 13 must be under the direct physical supervision of an adult at all times.
8. Booth assignments are final and shall be made in the sole discretion of Homeschool Montana. Exhibitors may not move exhibits to different locations without prior approval by the Convention Coordinator.
9. Exhibitors may install or remove their displays only during designated hours when the Exhibit Hall is closed to the public, or as approved by the Convention Coordinator.
10. Displays at the front of the booth must not interfere with the visibility of adjoining exhibitors. Displays may not extend beyond the confines of the exhibit space.
11. Exhibitors may offer materials, brochures, advertising, and/or other promotional literature only within the confines of their purchased booth space.
13. Exhibitors may not allow other individuals or companies to display materials within their exhibit space without prior approval from the Convention Coordinator.
14. Exhibitors must agree not to recruit potential patrons at the Montana Homeschool Convention for future multi-level marketing purposes.
15. No exhibitor who has behaved inappropriately or defrauded home educators in the past, as determined in the sole discretion of Homeschool Montana, will be permitted to exhibit. Any customer complaints reported to Homeschool Montana will be handled as follows:
a. Homeschool Montana will direct the customer to the exhibitor to seek a remedy and will notify the exhibitor of this contact.
b. If the customer is not satisfied within 10 days, Homeschool Montana will consider the customer’s complaint and notify the exhibitor, who will have 10 days to present its position in writing to Homeschool Montana.
c. If, after considering both positions, it is the opinion of Homeschool Montana that the exhibitor has defrauded the customer, Homeschool Montana may:
Deny the exhibitor status at future Homeschool Montana events.
16. Noise emitting devices such as record, tape, or video players; televisions; or computers may be operated only if they do not create a nuisance. Homeschool Montana, in its sole discretion, may prohibit the use of such devices if their operation results in complaints from attendees or surrounding exhibitors. No public address systems may be operated from an exhibit space.
17. No signs may be posted on painted surfaces. No glue, adhesives, nails, or other products may be used in the facility without permission from the Convention Coordinator.
18. Exhibitors must remove all their boxes and paper from the exhibit areas at the close of the Convention.
19. If it becomes necessary for Homeschool Montana to cancel the Homeschool Montana Convention, all fees (except those paid for advertising that has already been distributed) will be refunded.
HOLD HARMLESS CLAUSE
The Exhibitor assumes entire responsibility and hereby agrees to protect, indemnify, defend and hold Homeschool Montana, their employees and agents, harmless against all claims, losses, and damages to persons or property, governmental charges, or fines and attorney fees arising out of or caused by exhibitor installation, removal, maintenance, occupancy or use of the exhibition premises or a part thereof, excluding any such liability caused by the sole negligence of the Homeschool Montana. In addition, the Exhibitor acknowledges that Homeschool Montana does not maintain insurance covering Exhibitor's property, and that it is the sole responsibility of the Exhibitor to obtain business interruption and/or property damage insurance covering such losses by the Exhibitor.
Upon receipt of the Exhibitor or Sponsor registration application by Homeschool Montana (including payment), and confirmation of approval by Homeschool Montana, this agreement shall become binding between the Exhibitor or Sponsor and Homeschool Montana. For the purpose of this contract, an emailed confirmation of registration application does not denote confirmation of Exhibitor or Sponsor approval by homeschool Montana
Upon receipt of the Advertiser registration application by Homeschool Montana (including payment), and confirmation of approval by Homeschool Montana, this agreement shall become binding between the Advertiser and Homeschool Montana. For the purpose of this contract, an emailed confirmation of registration application does not denote confirmation of Advertiser approval by Homeschool Montana.
PAYMENT POLICY
A payment deadline of 14 days after registration is completed is applied to all registrations with check payment selected.
REFUND POLICIES
EXHIBITOR-ONLY REFUND POLICY
Exhibitor cancellations before March 1 of paid registrations will receive a 75% refund of table rental space .
After March 1, but before April 1, a 50% refund of table rental and exhibitor workshop moneys will be issued only if the vacated space is sold.
After April 1, no exhibitor refunds will be issued.
ADVERTISER ONLY REFUND POLICY
Cancellations of advertising space will receive a 75% refund IF such request is received 30 or more days BEFORE the advertising deadline.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the advertising deadline, for ads not received by stated deadlines, or for ads that do not meet specified requirements.
SPONSORSHIP ONLY REFUND POLICY
All approved and confirmed sponsorship sales are final and non-refundable.
Your application registration will not be processed unless you indicate your acceptance of these terms on your registration.
